Committee Description:
Marketing / Communications - collaborate with alumni, community leaders, soccer organizations and local businesses to promote the Golden Anniversary of PennFusion.
Responsibilities
Key Milestones
World Cup Viewing Party
Alumni Relations: celebrate our Club History / Traditions through outreach to alumni of the club, including players, families, coaches, parents and members of the community.
Events - design and manage Events Calendar designed to celebrate the history of PFSA and give back to the local community, while engaging members and attracting new members.
Shoot and Score Banquet (Feb) - fundraiser and kickoff event
Recreation League Soccer Fest (Apr/May) - Spring season carnival / festival aligned with Rec league schedule
World Cup 2026 (June/July) - viewing parties, competition
Dan Kennedy Fall Golf Outing (Sep)
Gala - Walk of Fame Induction (Oct/Nov) - inaugural Walk of Fame induction of long time coaches, pro players, volunteers and leaders
Fundraising/Sponsorships - coordinate fundraising efforts to self-fund events, with additional proceeds directed to PF Scholarship fund or local charity. Identify opportunity for local/regional sponsorship by bringing in new partners for these events and maintaining relationships to continued sponsorship opportunities
